Melanie said: “I’ve got the perfect idea, picture this… a Gondola on Bribie!”
To which Quinn responded:
“I think you are on to something there!”

Now, fast forward to today and the dream of Island Gondola has became a reality.

“It took years just to find the boat and months to restore it. We had it brought down from Cairns where it had been very badly neglected.”

Once the Island Gondola Team got this unique vessel to the condition they were happy with, Island Gondola was launched in 2014.

Since then Quinn and Melanie have been working 24/7 on building the business up from scratch. It has been hard work but they have loved every moment of it.

They have met so many lovely couples and groups who have enjoyed a luxury Gondola cruise along the Pumicestone passage and through the canals

Quinn and Melanie both say that it is a very rewarding job to help create that extra special something for their guests.

Island Gondola has had the pleasure of helping to create many once in a lifetime memories for thousands of customers.

Some of these include proposals, weddings, anniversary’s, birthdays, Christmas light tours along with breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert cruises.
